Humphries: Two Trips Done

Kris Humphries, a 6-8, 220-pound forward from Hopkins High School in Minnesota, will take two official visits and then make up his mind whether he will decide on a school.
According to Kris' dad, William, his son will visit Kansas the weekend of April 19th and Duke the weekend of April 26th. Florida, Texas, and Louisville are also among the top schools Kris is considering for visits. Minnesota, a school Kris has already visited, is also high on his list.

"Kris will take the first trips and then we will discuss the trips," Mr. Humphries said. "If Kris feels he needs to take more trips he will do so. There is a chance he could take all five visits before he starts playing in the AAU events."
Kris is one of these more highly recruited players in the class of 2003. He has already taken several other unofficial visits, including visits to Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, and Arizona. Kris has already taken four unofficial visits thus far -- to Texas, Minnesota, Michigan and Michigan State.
Last spring and summer, Humphries made a name for himself playing for the Howard Pulley Panthers' traveling program. He has the size to play inside, yet also displayed some skills on the perimeter. As a result, he likely projects as a combo forward at the Division I level.
