Hoyas add Philly bred shooting guard

Heading into the official visit process, Jabril Trawick knew what he was looking for. This weekend, he found it at Georgetown and wasted little time offering up a commitment to John Thompson III and the Hoyas.
A 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Jenkintown (Pa.) Abington Friends, Trawick could be seen as a bit of a late-bloomer. Being tracked by mostly mid-major programs headed into the summer, he used a big July with Team Phenom to garner several high major offers.

None of them, though, was enough to top the Hoyas.
"I picked Georgetown for multiple reasons," Trawick told Rivals.com. "For one the coaching staff, I felt real comfortable around them. Then the great academic program that they have."
In Georgetown, Trawick found a school pretty close to his home where he'll be able to compete on the highest level. He knows the tradition the Hoyas have and he feels like he's ready to contribute.
"It is a legendary place filled with a tremendous amount of tradition, I can go for days," said Trawick. "I think that I will fit in on the college level good because I'm ready to work and take my game there. It is up to me so I will put in the work."
