Howard Is Annointed No. 1 By RivalsHoops.com

Dwight Howard is the perfect candidate to lead the RivalsHoops.com's top 100 list. He is a terrific front court player and a classy young man. Howard works very hard both on and off the court.
Howard, 6-foot-10 and 225-pounds, is also a player that NBA scouts likely will keep a few eyes on this summer. He has size and skills to possibly be taken in the June 2004 NBA draft.

But Howard has stated before to RivalsHoops.com that college is his first preference. The attraction of big bucks is not on Dwight's mind right now. He is geared up to play for the Atlanta Celtics this summer and RivalsHoops.com will be at several events this young man competes in.
Tim Watts, Shay Wildeboor, Russ Blake, Denny Conroy, Jed Tai, Mike Sullivan, and Brian Towey all made suggestions that helped compile this list. Here is a link to the remaining spots on our 2004 top 100 list: 2004 Top 100 List
