Houston corrals another Mustang

When James Dickey put together his staff after taking the Houston job last spring, he knew he'd put together a staff that could recruit the state of Texas. Turns out he was right as the Cougars nabbed another Texan, Jevante Thompson, on Saturday afternoon.
A tough 5-foot-11 point guard from out of Irving (Texas) High, Irving leaked info a week ago that he was going to Houston only to recant shortly after. However, it didn't take him long to give his word for good as he offered up a verbal commitment during his official visit to Houston.
The commitment of Thompson gives the Cougars their second three-star commitment from off of Tony Johnson's mighty Dallas Mustangs program. He'll join summer teammate Jherrod Stiggers at Houston next year.
