Jason Horton said he was very impressed with the talent level at the ADIDAS ABCD camp last week. Horton, a 6-foot-1 guard from Cedar Hill High School in Texas, is considered one of the better offensive players in the 2004 class. Horton averaged seven points a game in pool competition at the ADIDAS sponsored event.

"There were a lot of great players here," Horton said. "Shaun Livingston has to be a top five player. There are so many other good guards that were here too."
Horton said he has a top four list. "Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Arizona State are on my list," Horton said. "I have unofficially visited Missouri and Arkansas."
Horton said he wants to go over each school before he makes a decision. "I want to list the pros and cons," he stated. "I want to see what coaches have a good relationship with current and past players. That's important to know."
Jason did say he currently has good relationships with all the coaches in his recruiting process. "I like them all," he said. "It's going to be a tough decision. But I should be able to make one and sign in the Fall."
When asked if there was one school that stands out above the others, Horton said: "Missouri. I have a very good relationship with the coach there. I like the way he relates to the recruits and the players. He is easy to talk to."
Horton plans on competing next in the ADIDAS sponsored event in Las Vegas next week. "I am trying to improve my pull up jumper," Horton said. "I want to improve my ballhandling and defense too. I think you try to work on all parts of your game whenever you have a chance."
