SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Five-star junior center Nazreon Reid was locked in for Roselle (N.J.) Catholic on Saturday at the HoopHall Classic and that was a bad thing Hartford (Conn.) Weaver.

The 6-foot-9 junior was dominant on both ends of the floor going off for a triple double that included 24 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. For good measure he tossed in five blocked shots.

"I was able to get position and score the basketball," Reid told Rivals.com. "I was also boxing out and rebounding. When we work as a team we win and then everybody's individual accolades go higher.

"My passing is a big weapon. Not many bigs with my size are as unselfish as I am because they aren't getting touches so I think it's a tremendous advantage for me."

The No. 19 ranked player in the class of 2018, Reid's recruitment has taken off. He has offers from the likes of Maryland, Louisville, Villanova, Syracuse, Iowa, Kansas and N.C. State but said that some of the more local programs and one from out West have been pushing hard.

"I haven't really done any unofficial visits lately I've mostly just been texting and talking to coaches," said Reid. "I feel like Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John's, California, UConn and some of the others are after me big time. I appreciate all the love."

Word behind the scenes on Reid's recruitment has been that he would prefer to stay close to home and that the regional programs have an early advantage. He sidestepped the issue when asked about the importance of location and plans to do his visits and decide next fall.

"I just want to go wherever it fits me and we are winning," said Reid. "That's my main goal. I don't really care how many points or assists I average right away in college, I just want to win."
