Holley Shaves List

One of the top athletes in the North East region Jesse Holley form Roselle (NJ) High School has over 20 scholarship offers and has narrowed his list down to his five favorites.
“Right now it looks like it will be Maryland, UCLA, Notre Dame, Michigan or Syracuse,” he said. “All five have offered and I’m pretty wide-open between them.

Last season Holley, 6-foot-4,185-pounds, hauled in 44 passes for 865 yards and 13 touchdowns from the wide receiver slot and from his staring free safety position he managed 80 total tackles, including 50 solos and picked off three passes.
Nearby Syracuse University is one of his favorite school and the Orangeman have an inside connection with the versatile athlete.
“My ex-teammate and best friend, Jamaal Dumas is on a football scholarship there. He’s told me how much he likes it at Syracuse and I trust his opinion,” Holley said. “It’s a great school and you cant beat the campus. They also put their players into the NFL which I really like.”
The University of Maryland is one of the Orangeman's main competitors for Holley's services.
“They are a up and coming program and they just won the ACC conference which is impressive,” he said. “I have a good relationship with their coaches and they have a good graduation rate for their players.”
Holley didn't attend any football camps this summer due to his busy summer basketball schedule with the Newark Rams AAU travel squad. Last season at Roselle he averaged 19 points, eight rebounds and seven assists per contest. Temple, Hofstra, Maryland, Marquette, UCLA and North Carolina are showing interest in his hoop abilities.
