Holland Hearing From OSU, MU, Others

The number of schools interested in Justin Holland is beginning to increase on a daily basis. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound combo guard from Landmark Christian High School in Atlanta, GA., isn’t the flashiest player in the class of 2005, but he continues to get the job done on the court. Holland has played a big part in the success Landmark Christian has achieved so far this year.
“Justin is doing just fine for us this year,” Landmark Christian Head Coach Bryan Bartley said. “Quite a few mid major programs are very interested in Justin right now, but he’s always being recruited by several high major programs as well. Ohio State is making a big push for him, Missouri is a school that really likes Justin and Wofford and Gardner-Webb have expressed a great deal of interest.

“Justin is scheduled to take his ACT at this end of this year, so we will sit-down after that and start taking about some schools he plans to visit,” he added. “Right now were just focused on the season and trying to do what we can to get better.”
Landmark Christian defeated Dwight Howard and SW Atlanta Christian back on January 30, and Holland was a big part of that victory. It was the first loss of the year for SW Atlanta Christian, but it looks like the two teams might meet up again in the immediate future.
“Justin was recently named to the All-Metro Team for his play during the month of January,” Bartley said. “Another one of my players, Randolph Morris, also made the All-Metro Team, so things are going good for us right now.
“As talented as Justin is, he still has plenty to improve upon,” he added. “His time management on the court is good, but he needs to become more vocal and he needs to learn how to take the momentum of the game when that opportunity arises. Justin spent the summer working with Kenny Anderson, which has been a big help, but he still must improve his game in some areas.”
