Holiday ready for weekend in Las Vegas

Justin Holiday is ready for his time on the spring and summer AAU Circuit to begin. After participating in the Boo Williams Invitational with a team that he had never practiced with, Holiday is ready to begin playing with the Pump N' Run Elite squad. He will have the opportunity to do just that this weekend.
"Justin will be playing with the Pump N' Run Elite team this summer," said Campbell Hall head coach Terry Kelly. "He played at the Boo Williams Invitational with the Nike Elite team, but he had never practiced with them before. Justin is not the type of player to brag about himself, but he said that he played pretty well at the Boo Williams Invitational.

"He is going to Las Vegas this weekend," he added. "His brother and some of his friends are on the Pump N' Run Elite squad, so he will certainly be more familiar with this team. I believe he will be in Las Vegas the next weekend as well."
Holiday, the 6-foot-6, 200-pound small forward from North Hollywood, Calif., knows how important the spring and summer AAU circuit is in terms of his future. If he can perform on a consistent basis throughout the AAU circuit, the landscape of his recruitment will certainly change.
It appears that several changes are beginning to take place already.
"A coach from Illinois was here to look at Justin and he was very impressed," said Kelly. "Nevada, Washington, UCLA, Utah, Tulsa and LSU are some other schools that have been by or are interested. Also, most of the programs in the Big West are also interested in Justin.
"Justin plans to take some official visits in the fall before anything happens with his recruitment," he added. "He will probably take all five and then decide. I know that he plans to take a visit to UCLA with his family to get a look at the campus."
