Hill stays in-state

Three-star prospect Jason Hill from Cleveland High School in Reseda, Calif., had high major interest and some of the best mid-major programs waiting on his test score, but the 6-foot-5, 180-pound combo guard decided to put the ink on a letter-of-intent for an in-state school.
“I’m signing with Cal State-Northridge tonight,” Hill told Rivals.com. “I have the paper work right here in front of me and am getting ready to fax it to them.”

The transition oriented Hill is eagerly anticipating playing in the fast paced Matadores offense.
“We run the sam offense in high school as Northridge does,” he said. “We like to push the ball like they do. I think it is a perfect fit for me.
“I’ve also built a good relationship with Coach Carl Holmes. Their coaching staff is like family. They treat you like family.”
There were also some heavy hitters after the services of Hill, who averaged 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists per game as a junior.
“Texas and Washington wanted me to redshirt a year,” said Hill, who ran with Pump N Run this summer. “Tulsa and Nevada were waiting on my SAT score, which I took last Saturday.”
Hill carries a 2.8 GPA.
