Hill Likes Four and Has SEC Offer

2005 prospect Jarvis Hill out of Starkville (Miss.) High School has a list of four schools and an offer from one. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound shooting guard plans on taking an official visit to the SEC school that has extended him an offer.
"I'm looking at Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi State, and N.C. State,” said Hill. “Tenn is the only one to offer. All but Florida have came to see me play."

Hill plans on taking a trip to Knoxville for an official visit with the one school that has offered him.
“I like Tennessee because they were the first to show me serious interest,” he said. “I’m real close with their coaching staff. I plan on taking an official visit there next weekend.”
Hill, who is averaging 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists per game for his 19-7 team, commented on the other three schools on his list.
“I like Florida’s up and down style of play.”
“I like Mississippi State’s style of play. I’ve met all their coaches, and we have built a good relationship. Getting a commitment from Monta Ellis, since we play the same position, could play a factor in whether I go there or not.”
“I like how N.C. State spreads the floor. They have a wide open offense and give you a lot of freedom. I’ve built a good relationship with Assistant Coach Larry Hunter.”
Hill still wants to find out more about these schools and is in now rush to make a decision.
“I don’t plan on making a decision until next year. I want to take some visits.”
