Being one of the more talented prospects to come out of the state of Nebraska, Matt Hill of Lincoln Southeast (Neb.) High School faced a very tough decision between his final three schools of Texas, Creighton and Nebraska. The chose has been made by Hill, and the 6-foot-10, 225-pound power forward is headed out of state.

"Matt did commit to Texas and is really excited about it," said Lincoln Southeast head coach Jeff Smith. "It's going to be a great challenge for him, and that's what he wanted.
"It was hard with the in-state schools recruiting him as much as we respect them. But it was his decision, and we are all excited about him being a Longhorn."
Hill, who averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks per game last season, is an active, mobile big man with a great touch around the basket. Able to score both inside and outside, Hill will only get better as he gets stronger. He is also a dangerous shot blocker.
