Hill Favoring Pac-10 School

Jason Hill, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound point guard out of Cleveland High School in Reseda, California is working daily to improve his game. The 2005 prospect already has two high major offers and has a favorite school in the Pac-10.
"Washington is my favorite right now with Utah Sate second,” said Hill, who plays for Pump N Run during the summer. “I’m also considering Texas, Stanford, Pepperdine and Tulsa. Washington and Texas are the only two that have offered, but the others are showing a lot of interest."

The hard work Washington has put into recruiting Hill is one of the main reasons the Huskies are at the top of his list.
“Washington has been recruiting me the hardest,” said Hill. “I have built a good relationship with their coaching staff. I also like the way they play. I think I would thrive in an up tempo style of play.”
Hill plans on visiting Washington in the fall. Before that visit, he would like to visit Texas and Utah State this summer.
Hill, who thrives on penetrating and either finishing or hitting the open man, is focused on his defensive quickness and shooting during his daily workouts.
"I’m working on getting quicker on defense, so I can guard smaller players,” he said. “I’m also working on my shooting. I go to Cal-Northridge almost every day and work out with the college players."
"I think my greatest strength is my passing and my ability to get to the hole."
Hill attended the Pangos Camp but was only able to participate on Friday because of the SAT and his prom.
