High-majors tracking 2006 Clark
George Odufuwa is the big name and big man for Kimball High School in Cedar Hill, Texas, but it is three-star 2006 prospect TJ Clark who is providing the ball handling and scoring punch. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound combo guard presently has a long school list and has already taken unofficial visits to three of the schools.
"TJ is interested in Illinois, SMU, Cincinnati, California, Oregon, Miami, Stanford, Florida State, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Colorado," said Kimball head coach Rodney Johnson. "All of those schools have been in to see him either play or practice, and TJ has already taken unofficial visits to California, Stanford and SMU."

Averaging 14 points and 7 assists per game, Clark is an attractive prospect because he can shoot the ball and can play the point guard position as his primary position.
"He's playing well," said Johnson. "He's given me some strong perimeter play and is taking the pressure off of George [Odufuwa].
"He's played some point and shooting guard for us this year. I think when it is all said and done, point guard will be his best position. He has good size and really sees the floor well."
Although he is playing well, Clark's best basketball is certainly ahead of him. Added strength should improve his overall game and particularly his ability to create shots off the dribble.
"TJ is shooting the ball really well for us this year although I would like to see him take a few more jump shots," said Johnson. "He needs to continue getting better shooting off the dribble. And as with all guards, he needs to continue getting stronger and quicker."
