High Majors on North Carolina cousins

First cousins and teammates Dorenzo Hudson and J.T. Thompson are poised to have big years for Forrest Hills High School in Union County, N.C. Both of the 2007 three-star prospects have an ACC offer and have fielded visits this fall from ACC and SEC schools.
"The guys have worked out for Georgia, South Carolina and Clemson, and they are going to offer them scholarships," said their Uncle Rick Taylor. "East Carolina and Virginia Tech have already offered them."

Thompson, a 6-foot-6, 210-pound is a classic undersized power forward with very good athleticism who does most of his damage inside. According to Taylor, he is also receiving interest from Wake Forest, Charlotte, Syracuse and Wisconsin.
Hudson, a more polished perimeter player on the wing at 6-foot-5, 195-pounds, was a recent standout at the Ravens Nike Fall Shootout, which was scouted by Rivals.com analyst Justin Young.
According to Taylor, Hudson is being recruited by North Carolina State and Connecticut along with all the schools showing interest in his cousin.
As sophomores last season, Thompson averaged 15 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks per game. Hudson put up 20 points and 6 assists per game while being named Second Team All State and winning the Player of the Year Award for Union County.
