Earl Clark, the 6-foot-7, 197-pound combo guard from Rahway (N.J.) High School is still in the beginning stages of his recruitment, but it appears that several schools have already made an early impression on the No. 39 ranked player in the class of 2006. While Clark plans to take some official visits next fall, two schools in particular will definitely receive visits from the New Jersey native.
“NC State, Georgia, Connecticut, Arizona, Rutgers, Seton Hall and Syracuse are some of the schools that I like right now,” Clark said. “Coaches' from NC State and Georiga have been down to watch me practice. The recruiting process is all new to me, so I am still trying to find out about each program and get a better feel for each of the schools that I am interested in.”
Clark, the No. 9 ranked shooting guard in the class, indicated that he is wide-open when it comes to his recruitment. While he plans to take as many as five official visits next fall, two schools in particular will definitely receive visits from one of the elite players in the class of 2006.
“Syracuse and Connecticut are two schools that I definitely plan to visit next year,” Clark said. “I don’t have any favorites at this time and am wide-open in my recruitment, but Syracuse and Connecticut are the schools that I have a high amount of interest in.”
