High Majors after Nebraska big man

Three-star prospect Matt Hill is averaging a double-double as his Lincoln Southeast (Neb.) High School team has amassed an 18-2 record. The mobile, 6-foot-10, 225-pound power forward has a Big 12 offer and has six schools on his list.
"I'm interested in Nebraska, Kansas, Purdue, Oregon, Creighton and Colorado State," said Hill. "Nebraska has offered, and Purdue, Creighton and Colorado State have been out to see me play this year."

Working in Nebraska's favor is Hill's desire to go to a college near his home.
"I'm looking for somewhere maybe close to home," he said. "I'm not in a hurry to make any decisions. I should know more after the summer. I'm going to try to take a couple visits this summer."
Although thin and in need of more muscle mass, Hill has the mobility to be effective at the high-major level. He runs the floor well and is a very good shot blocker.
In fact, Hill outplayed Derrick Caracter this past summer in a head to head match up in Las Vegas. Hill scored 16 to Caracter's 8 in a three point win by Hill's Nebraska Bison Red AAU team.
On the season, Hill is averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds, while also carrying a 3.5 GPA.
