High Majors after 2006 Polk

One of the better players, period, and certainly one of the best 2006 prospects in Las Vegas last weekend was Christian Polk. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound point guard from Deer Valley High School in Glendale, Arizona can flat out play, and he already has a handful of high majors seriously recruiting him.
"UCLA is recruiting me the hardest,” said Polk to Rivals.com after one of his Arizona Magic games. “Also, Arizona State and Florida State are recruiting me. Arizona is recruiting me a little."

Although young, Polk has a pretty good idea of what he is looking for in a school.
"Right now I’m wide open,” he said. “I want to go to a place where I have good relationship with the coach. I’d also like to go to a place that a has a good basketball atmosphere."
Polk, who is ranked No. 20 in his class and staking a claim to move higher, has a strong understanding of the game and his own game in particular. His comments concerning his strengths and weaknesses capture the reality of the situation.
"I think my greatest strengths are my leadership and my ability to score,” he said. “And I’m working on my defense and getting stronger."
