High-major offers for Mitchell

Coming off a successful senior season at Savannah (Ga.) High School, Casey Mitchell has looked very good playing for the World Wide Renegades this spring. Mitchell, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound shooting guard who is set to prep for a year has a couple high major offers at this point.
"Alabama, Texas A&M, Georgia, UNC-Wilmington and Georgia State are recruiting me right now," Mitchell told Rivals.com at the Kingwood Classic. "Alabama and Texas A&M have offered."

As Mitchell continues to play for the Renegades and preps at Hargrave Military Academy, expect a number of other schools to extend offers.
Casey Mitchell scouting report:
Mitchell is a physical guard who shoots the ball well from deep. He naturally separates from defenders when he elevates on his jumper and is very capable of knocking down contested shots. Although not the quickest defender, Mitchell utilizes his strength and aggressiveness on the defensive end. He also has a knack for being around the ball and making heady plays.
