Curtis Stinson, a bruising 6-2, 205-pound point guard from The Winchendon School in Massachusetts, comes out of the class of 2003. He has impressed at the IS8 league playing with the Real Scout team.
The native of the Bronx is extremely physically mature and possesses excellent strength at the point guard position. Stinson has good vision and uses his strength to bully smaller defenders off the dribble.
Stinson, who averaged 19 points and 7 assists this past season, has attracted the interest of Rutgers, Memphis, Hofstra, and Drexel among others.
Stinson will play this summer with The New York Ravens and will participate in the Bob Gibbons event over Memorial Day weekend, The Rumble in the Bronx in June, and the BABC shootout. Stinson will attend the Adidas ABCD camp for the second straight summer.
Stinson told Rivals Hoops that he is on target to complete his core requirements by next spring and will take the SAT on June 1st.
