High Interest For Banks

Sean Banks, a very talented 6-8 small forward from Bergen Catholic H.S. in Oradell, N.J., has been receiving a lot of interest recently from Pittsburgh, Connecticut, Rutgers, Memphis, and Seton Hall. He has already taken an official visit to Pittsburgh, a trip that Banks praised. Sean had stated he enjoyed seeing the new arena for the Pittsburgh program.
Banks previously told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, N.C. State, Syracuse, Texas, St. John's, and Tennessee were also of interest. These schools are still of interest to Banks too.

Banks enjoyed a solid spring. He had a terrific weekend at the Bob Gibbons Memorial Day Tournament of Champions, claiming MVP honors in leading the Playaz Gold squad to the 17 and under National Division title. But Banks could not help the Playaz advance out of pool play this past weekend at the Rumble in the Bronx. The Playaz lost two of three games at the event held on the campus of Fordham University.
Banks also enjoyed a banner junior campaign at Bergen Catholic, helping the Crusaders reach the final four of the New Jersey State Tournament of Champions before they were knocked out by eventual champ St. Anthony's.
