High Flying Guard Liked Visit

Blake Adams, a high flying 6-5 shooting guard from Aldine Nimitz H.S. in Houston, Tex., spoke to us recently about his first official visit to Oklahoma State (May 17-19).
"It was nice, I really liked it," Adams said. "I liked the gym and the campus -- those were the two best things -- but overall, everything impressed me."

Unlike most players in the Class of 2003, Adams has a pretty firm grip on his recruitment at this stage. He said he is only seriously considering three schools at this juncture -- Oklahoma State, TCU and Virginia.
In fact, Adams plans on making an unofficial visit to TCU sometime this month, and hopes to visit UVa in the fall.
Adams first came to the attention of the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com at the Kingwood Classic in April, where he helped spearhead Houston Select's march into the final eight of that prestigious spring tournament.
We will keep you posted on Adams' recruitment as the summer approaches, so stay tuned.
