Heightened interest in Williams

A strong showing in the AAU Nationals has sparked additional recruiting interest in Rivals150 forward JaCorey Williams.
After averaging 18 points and eight rebounds during his team's final eight run in the AAU Nationals, Williams now has offers from Arkansas, Washington State, UTEP, Richmond, Marshall, Tulane, East Carolina and Murray State.

Recent interest has also come from Alabama, Nebraska and Texas A&M.
A 6-foot-8 combo forward from Birmingham (Ala.) Central Park High School, Williams has a versatile game that coaches find appealing.
"Coaches really like his versatility," said Williams travel team coach Chris Monroe of the Birmingham Storm. "He can play both forward positions. He shoots well and can pass it off the dribble."
Williams, the No. 131 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, plans to use all five of his official visits.
