Heck Can Stroke It

Ryan Heck, a lanky 6-6, 185 pound swingman from Southwest Illinois C.C. in Belleville, Ill., has attracted quite a bit of early Division I interest this fall.
Southwest Illinois Asst. Coach Steve Campo told Rivalshoops.com that Appalachian State, St. Bonaventure, Maine, Arkansas-Little Rock and Montana have expressed an interest in recruiting Heck this winter.

Heck has very good size for a wing, and is blessed with long arms. He moves adequately for his size and does a good job of working himself open (popping off screens, e.g.) for open three point looks.
An above average athlete, Heck is still working on his handle for the Division I level.
A native of Okawville, Ill., Heck was a qualifier out of high school. He could be one of the more highly recruited JUCO players this spring due to his combination of size and shooting ability.
Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on his situation in the weeks and months to come, so stay tuned.
