Heavy hitters getting into mix with Williams

It looks like Duke has found its number one 2008 perimeter target to go along with number one post target Greg Monroe. According to Coach Ernie Kuyper of the M33M Magic, Duke has offered Elliot Williams, and a couple other schools are coming on strong.
Williams, a 6-foot-4, 175-pound combo guard from Memphis St. George's Independent School, made a big impression with his play at the Kingwood Classic.

"Duke is charging hard," said Coach Kuyper. "They are saying they have a scholarship for Elliot and that he is their number one perimeter target. Georgia Tech is coming on hard and Texas is talking with the family."
Coming into the spring with a top five school list of Tennessee, Virginia, Vanderbilt, Memphis and Clemson, Elliot told Rivals.com during the Kingwood Classic that he would have to also consider offers from top level programs.
Coach Kuyper reiterated that point.
"Elliot is still considering those top five schools and now Duke, Georgia Tech and Texas are in the mix. I expect him to take his visits in the fall, so nothing should happen any time soon."
Elliot Williams scouting report:
An electric athlete, Williams is a big time slashing scorer who can also wreak havoc on the defensive end with his length, quickness and superb anticipation. A potential big time point guard, Williams sees the floor and can break his man down on the dribble. He loves to take the ball right and then spin back to his dominant left hand against the second defender. His outside shot is in the process of improving.
