Heat Academy recruiting news

Martinsville (Va.) Heat Academy is cruising along with a 27-2 record. Several of their players are receiving strong recruiting attention, including P.J. Lockridge who is presently visiting a Big East school.
"Louisville has been on P.J. for the last month and a half," said Heat Academy head coach Jason Niblett about his 6-foot-5, 200-pound small forward. "He is down there today visiting and will watch the Uconn game.

"He likes Louisville, but he also likes Rhode Island and their style of play. He's still open and going to take it as it comes."
Lockridge has already visited Rhode Island, and another visit is possibly in the works.
"P.J. might visit South Florida later if it gets that far," said Niblett.
However, Niblett is confident that Louisville will offer a scholarship during the visit.
On the season Lockridge is averaging 25 points and six rebounds per game.
Another standout for Heat Academy Michael Haynes, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound forward, has picked up offers from Marquette and South Florida.
Xavier, however, is coming in today, and Niblett expects them to make a strong push for a commitment.
Memphis has also been calling on Haynes.
Lastly, 6-foot-3, 180-pound shooting guard Desmond Lee is planning a visit to South Florida this month. Boston College is also showing interest to go along with mid-major offers.
