Heard Verbals To DePaul
Marcus Heard, a 6-6, 205-pound forward from Springfield Southeast High School in Illinos, committed to DePaul, solidifying an outstanding class for the Demons. Heard had made his decision a couple of weeks ago but wanted to sit on it and think about it more.
When RivalsHoops.com last spoke to Heard, he told us that he was trying to make up his mind between Boston College and DePaul. Southern Illinois was no longer a consideration in this recruiting process.

Heard is a solid player, who can take the ball to the basket aggressively. He also possesses a soft touch from the outside, giving him a nice balance in his game.
"I am going to work hard on my shooting and ballhandling," Heard said about his upcoming season. "I want to make my skills as strong as I can before I get to college."
