Heard Set To Visit
One of the better players this past summer from the talented Illinois Warriors program was 6-6, 205-pound forward Marcus Heard, who also plays high school ball for Springfield Southeast. And his recruiting has picked up.
Heard recently had an in home visit with Boston College. But he is also expressing interest in Southern Illinois and DePaul. Heard is expected to take a visit to DePaul this weekend with two other recruits.

Heard is a solid player, who can take the ball to the basket aggressively. He also possesses a soft touch from the outside, giving him a nice balance in his game.
"I am working on my ballhandling and shooting," Heard said. "I want to get stronger too. I am going to lift weights when I am done in the summer. I plan on making a fall decision. I just have to see who is interested when I get done playing this summer."
