Heard Down To 2 Schools
Marcus Heard, a 6-6, 205-pound forward from Springfield Southeast High School in Illinos, is closing in on a decision. "I am down to Boston College and DePaul," Heard told us. "I visited both schools and also visited Southern Illinois."
Heard's most recent visit was to the campus of Boston College. "I had a good time there," Heard said. "It was a nice trip. The coaches and players are nice. The city is nice too."

Heard is a solid player, who can take the ball to the basket aggressively. He also possesses a soft touch from the outside, giving him a nice balance in his game.
"I am going to work hard on my shooting and ballhandling," Heard said about his upcoming season. "I want to make my skills as strong as I can before I get to college."
But what college? "I should know by next week," Heard said. "I have been thinking about both schools hard. I know what I like about DePaul and I know what I like about Boston College. But I don't have a definite decision right now."
