Haynes watches ACC power
As schools continue to hunt for big men to sign in the late period, recruiting interest in Michael Haynes increases.
Haynes, a 6-foot-6, 225-pound power forward from Martinsville (Va.) Heat Academy, most recently took in the Duke win over Virginia tech on Sunday.

"Duke has been recruiting him for about a month," said Heat Academy head coach Jason Niblett. "They are planning to watch him again soon, and they want him to come down after the season for an official visit."
Along with Duke, South Florida will also get a visit according to Niblett.
Other schools in the mix are Arkansas and Oklahoma State, who called recently and is expected to watch Haynes next week. Minnesota and Xavier have offered Haynes according to Niblett.
A physical presence around the basket with a developing mid-range game, Haynes is averaging 19 points and eight rebounds per game.
