Hassan Fofana, a 6-10, 260-pound center from Holy Name High School, is one of the top big men that most high division one programs will watch this summer. A member of the 2003 class, Fofana can hurt you offensively and defensively in the paint.
Fofana grabs a lot of rebounds and alters plenty of shots on the defensive side. He is still learning the game on the offensive end but can score around the basket.
Many college programs have made the trip to Holy Name to evaluate and watch Fofana in person. The last major program to take a look were the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Buckeyes have offered, according to our sources.
Fofana is averaging 15 points, 17 rebounds, and five blocks this season. Besides Ohio State, Louisville, Kentucky, Maryland, Wake Forest, Stanford, Purdue, Rhode Island, Seton Hall, Connecticut, Boston College, and Hartford have all expressed interest.
