Harvey planning two visits

As the spring signing period approaches, three-star senior point guard prospect Eugene Harvey would like to get a couple more official visits in before he makes a decision. Harvey, 6-foot, 165-pounds from St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, N.J., is focused on four schools right now.
"I'm still open," said Harvey. "I'm planning on visiting Maryland in about two weeks, and then I want to visit Illinois right after that. I'm also considering Rutgers and USC."

Harvey, who has already visited Rutgers and USC, does not intend on making a decision until after visiting Maryland and Illinois. However, if his teammate Lance Thomas were to commit to Rutgers, it is very likely that Harvey will join him.
"If Lance goes to Rutgers, I will most likely go there too," he said.
Harvey captured the second state championship of his career this season as St. Benedict's finished 30-2 for the season. Harvey, who will play in the upcoming Round Ball Classic, averaged 16 points and 8 assists per game.
Eugene Harvey scouting report:
Harvey is a pass first point guard who is more of a driver than shooter at this point. Adept at executing the high ball screen, he can get to the basket and finish with either hand. He is also a good athlete who can defend the ball.
