Harrison Smith, the No. 82 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, thought he was scheduled to visit Boston College this past weekend, but the trip never took place. Nonetheless, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound shooting guard from Jones High School in Houston, Texas, is still listing the Eagles as one of his top six schools.
"I was supposed to visit Boston College this past weekend, but there was some confusion on the date," said Smith. "I'm not sure what we are going to do now. I do know for sure that I want to visit Texas and Texas A&M, but no dates have been set."
Along with Texas, Texas A&M and Boston College, Smith is also listing Connecticut, Oklahoma and Texas Tech. He claims offers from all six.
"I'm just looking for a place with a comfortable environment and where I fit in with the players," he said. "Playing for a competitive team and getting a good education is also important."
Smith, who averaged 23 points and 6 rebounds per game last season, is a physically strong and athletic guard who specializes in getting to the basket. He can also shoot it from the outside and has the capabilities to be a verygood defender and rebounder. Ball handling and passing skills have room for improvement.
