Harrison on top of initial 2013 hoops ranking

It is time for an initial look at the top of the 2013 class, and leading the way in the top 15 ranking is power point guard Andrew Harrison. An explosive athlete with an advanced skill set, Harrison could turnout to be the next step in the evolution of the point guard position.

Harrison also has familiar company in the rankings with his identical twin brother Aaron Harrison. An athletic shooting guard, Aaron Harrison registers at No. 10 in the initial 2013 rankings.
Right behind the top-ranked Harrison is prolific scoring guard Rodney Purvis.
Texas big man Julius Randle is the top-ranked post player at No. 3.
At No. 4, big-time athlete Chris Thomas is the top-ranked wing prospect.
Rounding out the top five is Kuran Iverson out of Hartford, Connecticut. The rangy and skilled forward has a game similar to top 5 Class of 2011 prospect Quincy Miller.
Out of the top 15 prospects in the 2013 class, seven of the prospects are guards, six are forwards and two are post players.
