Harrison Has SEC Look

Aaron Harrison, a massive 6-9, 280 pound center from Triton C.C. in River Grove, Ill., took an official visit to San Jose State (Oct. 25-27) this past weekend.
Harrison, whom Rivalshoops.com saw recently at the Illinois Valley Men's Basketball Jamboree, is also being looked at this fall by Auburn, Evansville, Bradley, Eastern Illinois, Southern Illinois, Idaho, Illinois State and Ball State, according to Triton Head Coach Curt Connor.

Connor said that Harrison didn't play in his senior year of high school (at Steinmetz in Chicago) because he had two screws in his ankle. He arrived at Triton out of shape, in the 315-320 pound range, but came on strong late last season.
In fact, he started the last ten games of the year for Triton, averaging roughly 14 points and eight rebounds in those games. For the season, he averaged 12 points, seven rebounds and two assists per game.
"Aaron had a great summer, it's just a matter of putting together all of his post moves," Connor said. "He has a jump hook from both sides and a soft touch."
"We are working on his athleticism and power game," Connor continued. "He has a huge body and great upside."
After his San Jose trip, Harrison is slated to take one more trip this fall to Auburn, sometime in November.
Connor said Harrison will likely sign late, so Rivalshoops.com will keep you posted on his situation throughout the winter months. Stay tuned.
