Hargrave forward headed to MAC power

The Ohio Bobcats have made it a habit of landing key players to keep them atop the polls in the Mid-American Conference. Tim O'Shea and company did it again on Wednesday when Asown Sayles committed.
Sayles, a 6-foot-6, 210-pound forward from Hargrave Military Academy (Va.), made his pledge to the Bobcats after visiting them last weekend.

"I went out there and it felt really comfortable and I fit into their team," Sayles said. "My mom and I had a good time when we were there. I'm happy with it. It's the right place for me."
Sayles is taking a prep year at Hargrave after completing his career at McKeesport High School in the Pittsburgh area. Ohio is just over three hours away from home, he said.
The Bobcats are getting a versatile forward who can post up but also extends his game out to the wing.
"Coach said I'm a good fit for their system because I can go in and out," Sayles said.
He picked Ohio over interest from Kent State and LaSalle.
