Hare to Play in Atlantic Sun

Belmont University from the Atlantic Sun has picked up a commitment from combo guard Justin Hare out of Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, TN.
The 6-foot-2, 192-pound Hare entertained offers from Chattanooga, ETSU, William & Mary, Pennsylvania, and Princeton before deciding on the Bruins.

According to his high school coach Kent Smith, Hare’s strength and versatility should help him make an impact in the Atlantic Sun.
“His number one attribute is his strength at the guard position,” Smith said. “He can penetrate and finish on bigger inside players. His outside shot has improved considerably over the summer. He is a heady player that rarely makes mistakes and can handle the ball with both hands. He can play both guard positions, and I think that was something that Belmont really liked about him.”
Hare has played two year for the Tennessee Travelers, and his Bradley Central team finished as state runners up last year in Tennessee’s highest classification.
With everyone returning from last years team, Bradley Central will open up against Denham Springs High School (La.) in the Rumble on the Ridge Thanksgiving Tournament in Forrest City, Arkansas. Denham Springs is led by Tasmin Mitchell, perhaps the top player in the class
