Harden enjoying junior campaign

James Harden, the 6-foot-5, 200-pound shooting guard from Artesia High School in Rancho Dominguez is pleased with where his recruitment stands right now, but there is no doubt that the three-star prospect would love to hear from some additional schools.
"Well, Washington State is recruiting me hard and they have offered me a scholarship," said Harden. "Connecticut, Texas, Georgia Tech and USC are some of the other schools showing an interest in me. Coaches from Washington State were at the school on Friday and Monday to watch me practice. USC was also there and Utah was there the day before that.

"Illinois, Kansas and Kentucky are some of the schools that I would like to see get involved in my recruitment," he added. "I know that if I work hard and have a successful season that might happen. I just need to keep working. I do plant to take all five visits, but I don't know what schools I am going to visit yet,"
Until the time comes for Harden to really start focusing in on his recruitment, the 6-foot-5, 200-pound shooting guard is looking forward to taking care of some business on the court. According to Harden, he and his teammates are already off to a pretty hot start.
"We are 4-0 right now and just beat Fairfax High School by 13-points several nights ago," said Harden. "We are getting ready to play in a big tournament that starts on Friday night, so the team is really looking forward to that.
"I jammed my finger during the first game of the season, so I have not been scoring the ball as good as I had hoped," he added. "I am feeling better now and should be ready to go this weekend."
