Harangody ends recruitment

Luke Harangody, the 6-foot-7, 250-pound power forward/center from Andrean High School in Schererville, Ind., has decided to put an end to his recruitment. After having a lengthy discussion with his parents late on Tuesday evening, Harangody, the No. 80 ranked player in the class of 2006, is headed to Notre Dame.
"Yes, I am going to Notre Dame," said Harangody. "I sat down with my parents on Tuesday evening to talk about my decision. After sleeping on the decision last night, I woke up this morning and called Coach (Mike) Brey. He was extremely excited about the decision, and my family and I share those same feelings.

"After talking to my parents last night, we just felt that it was a good time to make a decision about my future," he added. "Notre Dame is where I want to be after high school, so I decided to make the decision."
Now that Harangody has made a final decision about his future, the No. 18 ranked power forward in the class is looking forward to some much needed rest and relaxation. After participating in a number of AAU events throughout the spring and summer, Harangody has decided to take the rest of the summer off.
"I am actually done for the summer," said Harangody. "I have decided to stop playing AAU basketball for the summer and will just hangout and relax."
