Hansbrough To Unofficially Visit UNC

Tyler Hansbrough, the No. 5 ranked player on the Rivals150 list, is still several months away from making a decision about his future, but that hasn’t stopped him from taking a step forward in the recruiting process. The 6-foot-9, 230-pound power forward from Poplar Bluff High School in Poplar Bluff, Mo, told RivalsHoops.com that three schools have emerged as the teams to beat in his recruitment. Hansbrough made it clear that he plans to have a decision made by July.
“Things are going pretty good for me right now. We have a tournament this weekend in St. Louis, so I am doing my best to get prepared for that,” Hansbrough told RivalsHoops.com. “Now that I have finished talking all five official visits, I’ve really tried to focus all of my attention towards basketball.”

Hansbrough has in fact used all five official visits, but it looks like he and his father, Gene Hansbrough, will take one final unofficial visit to North Carolina before his recruitment ends.
“Kansas, North Carolina and Kentucky are the three schools,” Hansbrough said. “I have officially visited all three schools, but my dad and I are planning to take an unofficial visit to North Carolina in June. I plan to make an announcement in July about what school I will be attending.”
Hansbrough is scheduled to unoffically visit North Carolina during the weeekend of June 11-13. It's believed that a decision will be made several weeks after his visit to UNC.
