6-foot-11, 250-pound center Ray Hall of Mullen High School in Denver, Colo., bypassed the early signing period and now has found the situation he was looking for. Hall is now committed to playing his college basketball in the Big East.
"I'm really excited about going to Providence," said Hall. "It's a good fit for me. They have a good staff, and they're a young and up and coming team.

"I'm looking forward to playing in the Big East. I just want to come in and help the team anyway I can. Hopefully, I can bring a strong defensive presence."
Hall, who is having a strong senior campaign for his 14-1 team is averaging 22 points and 13 rebounds per game, chose Providence over San Diego State.
Ray Hall scouting report:
Hall is a big bodied and skilled presence inside with very good hands. His lateral quickness, speed and explosiveness off the floor need improving.
