Hairston To Announce On Wednesday
Malik Hairston just informed RivalsHoops.com that a press conference has been scheduled on Wednesday to announce his college decision. The 6-foot-6, 190-pound shooting guard/small forward from Renaissance High School has already made a decision, but has decided not to contact the coaches until Tuesday evening.
“Now that a decision has been made, I feel a great deal of relief,” Hairston said. “I plan to hold a press conference at Renaissance High School this Wednesday at 4:00. I have decided to enjoy this time tonight and do not plan to call the coaches until Tuesday.

“I’m not going to talk about what schools have been cut or what schools have not been cut,” he added. “Everybody will know about my decision on Wednesday. I am looking forward to playing college basketball and experiencing that life.”
Rivals.com ranks Hairston No. 7 on the Rivals150 list and the second best shooting guard in the class of 2004.
