2011 four-star prospect P.J. Hairston finally got the offer he was waiting on and a day later accepted the opportunity to play for an ACC power.
It was no secrete that Hairston, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound shooting guard from Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley High School, dreamed of playing for North Carolina. On Monday night, he confirmed with Rivals.com that he had committed to the Tar Heels.
The No. 23 ranked prospect in the class of 2011, Hairston is the first North Carolina commitment in the 2011 class.
Hairston also had offers from Florida, Memphis and Wake Forest.
