Jodie Meeks, one of the top guards in the south, has three schools scheduled to visit him during this contact period, one being new to his recruitment. The 6-foot-4, 197-pound combo guard from Norcross (Ga.) High School has also been getting strong interest from three other schools, two of which are not SEC schools.

Alabama, Auburn and the new school to his recruitment Georgia will all make trips to Norcross in the coming weeks to visit Meeks, who is the No. 36 ranked player in the class of 2006.
Three other schools have not yet scheduled visit dates with Meeks, but they have been showing a good bit of interest.
"Wake Forest is showing a lot of interest," said Meeks. "I believe they want me to visit them. UConn called during March, and Arkansas wants me to tour the campus while I am there for the Real Deal on the Hill."
Formally with the Georgia Stars, Meeks will be suiting up with the newly formed Georgia Hurricanes this travel season.
Meeks already has offers from Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, Clemson and Colorado.
