According to a report on the Wisconsin Playground Warriors website, first Brown will be heading to Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa next month in order to get his academic situation in order. He hopes to get a qualifying score when he retakes the ACT in October.
And if that happens, Brown is headed to the University of Miami for the 2003-04 season.
RivalsHoops.com's number 18 shooting guard from the class of 2002 told reporter Russ Blake in early July that he was leaning toward Iowa. Other schools involved with Brown included Illinois, Michigan State, Kentucky, Purdue, Wisconsin, Miami, Arizona, Cincinnati, DePaul and Florida.
Brown averaged 22.5 points as a senior this past season and was named Wisconsin's Mr. Basketball by the Milawaukee Journal-Sentinel.
