Greene to set list soon

It has been a busy fall for 2013 four-star prospect Brannen Greene, and he is on the verge of formulating a solid school list.
A horde of schools are involved with Greene, a 6-foot-7 forward from Forsyth (Ga.) Mary Persons High School, but the head coaches who have watched Greene work out and the schools he has visited provide clues as to which schools will make the cut.

"In a couple weeks I'm going to cut down my schools to a list of seven, eight or nine," Greene told Rivals.com. "I'm just looking at which schools are showing me the most interest and have my attention. Once I get this list set, then I will really look closely at the schools to see which are best for me."
So far this fall head coaches from Florida, Memphis, Tennessee, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Providence have been in to see Greene.
With a visit scheduled for Kansas on the opening of practice, Greene has already visited Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, UCLA, Xavier, Duke, Alabama and most recently Connecticut and Harvard.
Playing pickup with some former teammates and visiting with coach Jim Calhoun were the highlights of the Connecticut visit.
Harvard made quite an impression on him as well.
"The Harvard visit was cool," he said. "I liked the structure. All the kids were wearing suits to class. It was cool to see Harvard because it is such a name. It was a big thing just to walk on the campus."
Greene, the No. 35 prospect in the Rivals150, has done his due diligence and should have a firmer grasp on his recruitment just prior to his Kansas visit.
