Green Slices List To 3

Center prospect Wesley Green from Eustis (FL) High School has seen many twists and turns regarding his recruitment in the last two months but he has managed to narrow his list down to his three college favorites.
"Marquette, DePaul and South Carolina are my favorites now," Green said. "They are the schools recruiting me the hardest and who have shown the most interest in signing me."

Green, who is rated 4-stars and the 11th best center prospect in the nation by RivalsHoops.com, has taken officially visits to Indiana, Florida State, and Tennessee and has plans to visit Marquette this week.
"I'm going to Marquette Thursday and I'm pretty excited. I've never gotten the chance to visit but I hear it's nice" he said. "They really have been creative while recruiting me and they have put a lot of effort into showing me that they really want me to play there. That's impressed me."
Green, 6-foot-9, 260-pounds, indicated that at the current moment he finds great qualities in all three of the remaining schools on his list and his decision would be a tough one.
"DePaul is in the great city of Chicago and I'm from a small town so that would be something new and exciting for me," Green said. "They have a good tradition and I think they are a team that could rise back to the top."
"The main reason I like South Carolina is coach Odom," he said. "He is a really good person to talk with and he did a great job with Tim Duncan so that is a big plus for them."
In a previous interview with RivalsHoops.com, Green listed Indiana and South Florida among his favorites.
"Things just didn't work out between us," he said. "I liked Indiana a lot but they got a commitment at my position and I just wasn't ready to commit. The same thing happened with Florida State and Tennessee but this isn't something I'm going to rush into. In the end everything will work out the way it's meant to so I'm not worried"
Last season Green averaged 18.8 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest.
