Green Says May Be Done With Trips

Wesley Green, the outstanding center/power forward from Eustis (FL) High School, told us he may not take any more visits. "I have visited Florida State, Tennessee, and Indiana," Green said. "They have been all great visits."
When Green was asked was there any major differences in the visits, he replied: "The one major difference is that Florida State and Tennessee are football schools," Green said. "Indiana is a basketball school. If you don't like basketball in the state of Indiana, you are a nobody. I was amazed how much they love their basketball there."

Green said his recent trip to Bloomington was an education of sorts. Wesley said he was amazed in how many people asked him and head coach Mike Davis for his autograph. "They love their basketball there," Green said. "That's what so great about Indiana."
Wesley said though he still likes the three schools and doesn't have one above the other right now. "I don't know if I will take another visit," Green said. "The three visits were all very good. I could decide in the next couple of weeks but I don't have a decision now."
Green also remarked that DePaul and Marquette were other schools of consideration for future trips. "I haven't made up my mind yet," Green said.
South Florida, Arkansas, and South Carolina were previously mentioned by Green to reporter Tim Watts in our last interview. However, Green did not mention them this time around.
During his summer AAU travels with the Orlando Force Green, who is rated a 4-star prospect and the 10th best player in the Southeast by RivalsHoops. Last year Green averaged 18.8 points, 10.8 boards and 3.4 assists per contest. With a 3.0 core GPA he is expected to be a full qualifier.
