Green Makes Decision

Center prospect Wesley Green from Eustis (FL) High School recently told RivalsHoops.com that he had narrowed his list of favorites down to his two finalists. He took his fourth visit to Marquette two weekends ago and this weekend wrapped up his official visits with a trip to DePaul, which resulted in his commitment.
"I had a great trip and committed to DePaul. Everything was nice and it didn't take me long to figure out that they were the school for me," he said. "It felt like I was already part of the team and they are have a program that is going to be on the rise in the near future."

Green, 6-foot-9, 260-pounds, indicated that several elements factored into his decision.
"They have a good teacher to student ratio which I really liked. The students all were nice and the campus is right in the middle of a big city so there is plenty for me to get out and do. I live in a small town so the city is going to be a new experience for me and I'm excited about it," Green said. "I really like the staff and all through my recruitment I heard negative things about DePaul but their staff was straight up with me and they recruited me hard so we clicked right off the bat. I know I made the right decision."
Green, who last season averaged 18.8 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest, also officially visited Indiana, Tennessee and Florida State before making his decision.
