Gordon staying the course

The process of taking official visits is all over for five-star senior Aaron Gordon.
If he wanted to, he could end things but that doesn't appear to be in the plan.

After a recent trip to Kentucky, the 6-foot-8 forward from San Jose (Calif.) Archbishop Mitty has seen all of the schools on his list.
The UK trip followed official trips to Arizona, Kansas, Oregon and Washington and an unofficial to California.
Gordon says he had fun on his visits, but he's also glad to have some time to himself to go over things.
"I'm glad it's over now," Gordon told Rivals.com. "I can compare and contrast (schools)."
As he's done all along, Gordon has stayed away from speaking too specifically about one school or another and he doesn't yet have a leader.
Soon, though, the high-flying Gordon could start to chop down his list a little.
"Yeah, I'll chop them down soon," said Gordon. "I just need to talk to the coaches once more."
Exactly how many schools get cut from his list remains to be seen but the safe bet is that he cuts it down to three and sooner than later. Gordon would like to see the teams recruiting him play this season to improve his feel for where he fits.
And while the process has been stressful at times and he could end it by making a commitment, Gordon is still leaning toward taking his time.
"I'm probably going to wait until Spring," said Gordon. "It's a blessing, I just let the stress (of recruiting) roll right off me."
